Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, slow and rhythmic treatment designed to support the natural movement of lymphatic fluid throughout the body.
Using light, specific techniques, MLD may help reduce temporary swelling and fluid retention, support healthy lymphatic function, promote relaxation and create an overall feeling of lightness.
MLD may be beneficial for general swelling or feelings of heaviness, as well as recovery following surgery or injury when appropriate. Treatment is individualized based on your health history, concerns and goals.
The feel: Light • Slow • Calming • Restorative
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage (BLD)
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage is a more dynamic and rhythmic style of lymphatic massage that combines faster movements and firmer techniques to support healthy fluid movement and tissue mobility.
Treatment may help reduce temporary puffiness, bloating and fluid retention while supporting circulation and creating a feeling of lightness throughout the body.
This treatment is ideal for those looking for a more invigorating lymphatic experience and may also incorporate specialized tools depending on the treatment selected.
The feel: Rhythmic • Dynamic • Energizing

Face Lymphatic Drainage + Buccal Massage
Buccal massage is an intraoral technique that targets deeper facial muscles using gloved fingers inside the mouth.
Treatment focuses on the cheeks, lips, chin and jaw, while also incorporating lymphatic drainage to support healthy fluid movement, reduce facial puffiness and release facial tension.
Treatment may include work to the chest, neck, face (external and intraoral) and scalp, along with facial cupping and Gua Sha.
The focus: Facial lymphatics • Facial tension • Buccal/intraoral work • Relaxation
TMJ Massage
TMJ massage focuses on reducing muscular tension and fascial restrictions affecting the jaw, face, neck and surrounding structures.
Treatment may help reduce jaw tension and discomfort, improve jaw mobility, and address tension associated with clenching, grinding and headaches.
Treatment includes external work to the jaw, face, neck and surrounding structures, with optional intraoral techniques to access deeper muscles involved in jaw function.
The focus: Jaw tension • TMJ discomfort • Clenching & grinding • Jaw mobility • Headaches

If you’re unsure, choose the treatment that most closely matches your main concern. Your health history and goals will be reviewed before treatment, and the session can be adjusted when appropriate.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) if you’re looking for a gentle, light and calming approach to lymphatic treatment. MLD may be a better choice when your goal is supporting lymphatic function, managing swelling or fluid retention, or when your body may benefit from a slower, gentler treatment.
MLD may also be preferred for certain conditions or situations, including post-surgical recovery when appropriate, persistent swelling, lymphedema-specific care, sensitivity to deeper pressure, or when supporting relaxation and nervous system regulation is an important part of treatment.
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage (BLD) if you’re looking for a more rhythmic, dynamic treatment. BLD may be better suited for temporary puffiness, bloating, feelings of heaviness or clients who simply prefer a more active style of lymphatic massage.
-
Everyone responds differently. Some people notice a feeling of lightness, relaxation or changes in temporary puffiness or swelling, while others experience more subtle changes.
-
MLD should not be painful and uses very light pressure. Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage is firmer and more dynamic techniques, but treatment should still remain within your comfort level.
-
Treatments provided as Registered Massage Therapy are eligible for an RMT receipt. Coverage varies by insurance plan, so clients should confirm the details of their individual benefits.
